A WE² bit about Anne:

Anne WhelanAnne Whelan is a stained glass artist that has had a passion for glass ever since she was a young adult. It all started with the copper foil method (Tiffany) followed by lead came and then hot glass and grisaille (painting on glass) were added to her skills.

Anne shares her passion for glass by teaching stained glass and fusion, by giving informative seminars and by offering many workshops at her studio in Pointe-Claire. Furthermore, she participates in exhibitions and shows to showcase her art work.

Other than creating original custom pieces, Anne now specialises in the reproduction of Coat of Arms incorporating many glass techniques. Her works are now found internationally in such countries as Denmark, Germany, United States, India, Australia, France and Great Britain.

Testimonials for Anne:

“My experience was so enjoyable and rewarding. I particularly appreciated the relaxed and comfortable setting of the studio and the opportunity to receive personalized instructions from a very knowledgeable teacher. The pace of learning was adapted to my needs and the right combination of challenge to satisfaction made the time fly by. As a beginner who had never attempted this craft before, I developed the confidence and skills to accomplish a very beautiful piece of art. I received this course as a gift certificate and would highly recommend it to anyone who would like to see and believe that they can do it too! ”
– Roberta G Pte-Claire

“I bought a VidriAna design pendant recently; and my friends and relatives saw the beautiful pendant and now they all have purchased VidriAna design because of the creative artwork and high quality of the piece.”
